# Setting Up Your First Client & Project in Workflow The fastest way to feel the difference Workflow makes is to set up your first real job inside it. Here's the five-minute tour. ## Step 1 — Add a client From the home screen, tap the **Clients** tab and add a new client. Give them a name and any contact details you use — the email and phone number you'll later send invoices to. Why bother? When your inbox is scattered, knowing every active client lives in one list is a small superpower. No more searching old chats to remember who owes what. ## Step 2 — Create the project From the **Projects** tab, start a new project and link it to your client. Set: - **Project name & type** — e.g. "Client Launch Video – 60s cut" - **Deadline** — the date the final deliverable is due - **Budget** — the agreed project value - **Advance** — any deposit already collected - **Revision limit** — how many rounds are included - **Assigned editor** — handy if you run a small...
